Kristina Valentine is a freelance photographer based in downtown Los Angeles. She seeks to express herself through fleeting realities she captures on film. Her addiction to photography comes from her aspiration to evoke emotions and reactions.

Kristina prefers natural lighting and natural settings when stepping into her creative zone, but won’t shy away from the studio. When photographing people, she tends to let things unfold organically, without a strict itinerary.

She completed a series featuring downtown LA architecture in 2008. Permanent installations can be seen at the Roosevelt Lofts and the law firm of Milbank Tweed. She has also had some of her work shown in various galleries in the downtown area during the monthly LA Artwalk.

Kristina has recently been experimenting with underwater photography and photographing food, bugs and flora with her macro lens.
